A post about the Joys of Technology

Hello everyone out there ..

I have to say that technology has made the world a smaller place in my view. I can remember when i was young and speaking to the relatives from England, you said 'hello' then waited a bit until you heard your voice down the phone line. Then you got a reply and if you weren't careful you'd lose the conversation by talking over each other. Now it sounds like they are in the next room and i can call them on my mobile from where ever i am which is a good thing .

But im left a little cold by most of Todays technology. I think things are becoming a little impersonal.

To be honest i cant really complain because i met my wife on the internet and we are getting a new library system which should make life much better at work ..
